Research Overview
Dr. Yang is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Connecticut School of Nursing. She received her BS and MS in Nursing from Seoul National University in South Korea and her PhD in Nursing from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. She completed her postdoctoral training at the University of Florida College of Nursing through an NIH/NINR F32 individual postdoctoral fellowship. Her research endeavors focus on addressing the bio-behavioral-social determinants of health during cancer survivorship, with the aim of improving quality of life and functioning for cancer survivors.
