InCHIP Virtual Workshop: Using Social Media Effectively

Social media can be a powerful tool for information sharing, meeting like-minded individuals, and learning about new topics. For researchers, social media can be used for disseminating findings, reaching new audiences, and recruiting study participants. However, social media comes with its unique set of challenges, from gaining traction online to navigating negative attention.

Join InCHIP for a virtual workshop that will provide UConn researchers with an overview of how to use social media effectively. Participants will learn how to grow their audience and tap into new networks, use platform features to expand their posts' reach and engagement, curate content, and establish credibility.
