Research Overview

I’m interested in HIV prevention among youth and young men who have sex with men. I’m currently submitting a grant for my proposed dissertation research that focuses on PrEP Use and Substance Use among Black and Latinx young men who have sex with men. With my advisor, I have worked on projects pertaining to substance use among LGBTQ youth and PrEP and Substance Use among Black and Latinx young men who have sex with men. I have also focused on how adherence to masculine norms acts as a barrier to PrEP use and adherence among young men who have sex with men.
