Research Interests

My research interests focus on adolescence, emerging adulthood, and family structure. A consistent theme in my research has been predictors of the health and well-being of adolescents and emerging adults, specifically focusing on family structures and risk behaviors, as well as internalizing problems. I will be working with Christine Ohannessian, through Connecticut Children’s, looking at children’s risk behaviors for substance use, as well as examining internalizing problems.
