Research Overview
My current research interests include medication adherence and metabolic syndrome in both community and correctional settings. I am currently working on determining the prevalence of metabolic syndrome in a correctional setting, determining factors which influence medication adherence in a Corrections Population with bipolar disorder, determination of useful polymorphisms in determining lithium response via meta-analysis, and determining prevalence of metabolic syndrome in a state medicaid population. Previous work has included: determining effectiveness of a pharmacist on recommendations made for treatment of bipolar disorder and serotonin receptor polymorphisms in determining antidepressant responsiveness.
