Research Overview
My primary research interests include examining the physiological and molecular effect of nutrition and exercise on the coagulation and fibrinolytic systems as well as understanding the mechanisms underlying stress induced stroke, MIs, and DVTs. Currently investigating health benefits of whey protein on antioxidant, inflammatory, vascular, and endocrine markers.
