Research Overview
My research interests are broadly in computer networking, distributed systems and ubiquitous computing. I am currently leading a team working on a National Science Foundation (NSF) funded Smart and Connected Health project. The goal of the project is developing a framework for large-scale and automatic screening of depression using smartphones. In addition to this project, I am working on several other projects supported by NSF, spanning multiple areas including wireless networking, smart buildings, network infrastructure and smart grids. My research theme is developing innovations in computer networks and pervasive computing to better serve our daily lives and work.
