Research Overview

I am interested in the differences within the Asian American community in psychological and physical health outcomes and the cultural factors associated with them. I am currently beginning a project investigating the role of concealable and visible stigmatized identities (characteristics that are socially devalued) on psychological and physical health outcomes among Asian American ethnic groups and the group differences in these relationships.

I received my B.A. from Claremont McKenna College in Psychology and Government and my M.A. from the University of Connecticut in Clinical Psychology. I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Connecticut.
