Research Overview

I’ve been interested in HIV/AIDS-related behavioral intervention which includes using behavioral models to design health interventions and using statistical analysis to identify risk factors for certain risky behaviors.

I plan to work on projects related to behavioral interventions especially among PLWHA, to identify the gaps in promoting safe sexual behaviors among this population and potential approaches to enhance their medication adherence.

I’ve been working on interventions among female entertainment/sex workers in China which aims to promote safer sexual behaviors among this group of people who are vulnerable to HIV/STDs infection or have a higher potential to transmit HIV to other people given the nature of their work.
