Physiology and Neurobiology

Research Overview

My research focuses on developmental neurobiology and stem cell biology with an emphasis on understanding neural stem cell distribution, maintenance and function in the brain. We are also interested in assessing changes that occur to the brain as a consequence of aging, disease or following injury.
We are currently developing an ‘app’ called CT Concussion Tracker for concussion reporting in the public schools (K-12).
