About the Speaker: Dr. Sheana Bull directs the mHealth Impact Laboratory at the University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus. In the past 20 years, Dr. Bull has participated in 17 research studies related to mobile and digital health serving as PI on seven of these. She has produced 50 peer-reviewed manuscripts specifically related to mobile and digital health methods, theory and study outcomes since 2007, and authored a textbook on the development and evaluation of mobile health. In the three years since the mHealth Impact Laboratory was established, she has overseen five clinical trials to establish acceptability and preliminary efficacy for programs related to vaccinations for human papilloma virus, supporting initiation and sustainability of breast feeding, text messages for teen pregnancy prevention, an app for trauma surgeons to improve care delivery and promotion of parent child interaction for 12-18 month old child development.
